About Us

Hathi is a Theatre Company. We use inclusive creative processes to which everyone is welcome, and everyone is valued. A lot of people, who find themselves unwelcome elsewhere in the world, come to us.

Hathi runs professional productions, Young Actors Theatre Company and Youth Theatre workshops for 2'000 people, education courses for over 500 students, community outreach projects and a network of satellite 'Hathi' projects accross the country from Birmingham to Southampton so even more can benefit.

Using our unique creative process, our theatre company, young actors company and community Theatre Company have produced more than 2'500 performances of extraordinary Theatre.

Professional productions, with casts of 15-20 actors and musicians, initimate studio pieces, spotlighting solo and small groups of performers. Original works devised by the company through workshops, original scripts commissioned and written by our Artistic Director, pioneering multi-lingual performance with Dance.

Recognised and acknowledged by practitioners 'what Hathi have done in transforming the language of Theatre is not unlike the profound effect of John Osborne in Look Back Anger' (Richard Eyre)
